June is National Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Month and what better way to celebrate than to visit the dozens of weekly Farmers Markets occurring in different neighborhoods around Manhattan? For our Farmers Markets in NYC: A Manhattan Guide, we’ve compiled a list of 23 markets and organized them by day of the week. Monday

Union Square Greenmarket

Union Square West at 17th Street
Year-round market
8 AM – 6 PM

A favorite among farmers markets, Union Square offers 140 regional vendors who sell everything from spinach to spirits, with cooking demonstrations, beverage tastings, and book signings taking place during the warmer months. On Mondays, GrowNYC’s compost collection occurs from 8 AM – 5 PM and clothing collection runs from 8 AM – 4 PM. Bowling Green Greenmarket

Broadway at Battery Place
Year-round market
8 AM – 5 PM

Staten Island Ferry Greenmarket

Orchard fruit, vegetables, plants, honey, baked goods, and maple syrup are all offered at the Staten Island Ferry Terminal Greenmarket.

Oculus Plaza Greenmarket

Church Street at Fulton Street

The Oculus Plaza Greenmarket offers fruit, vegetables, cheeses, syrup, baked goods, and locally crafted beer, cider, and spirits.

Fort Washington Greenmarket

168th Street at Fort Washington Ave
Open June 5 – November 27
8 AM – 4 PM

The Fort Washington Greenmarket offers a wide range of products from bee pollen to honey, baked goods to butter, cheese, eggs, beef, and dairy, as well as plants, prepared foods, pressed juices, and a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. Tribeca Greenmarket

The Tribeca Greenmarket offers a wide range of products for shoppers including seafood, sustainably raised meat, cheese, yogurt, fruit, flowers, plants, and herbs. 57th Street Greenmarket

Cooking demos and seasonal celebrations occur frequently at the 57th Street Greenmarket, and shoppers can look forward to a plethora of baked goods, cheese, eggs, plants, herbs, and delicious fruits and vegetables. Union Square Greenmarket

This Inwood market offers so much more than just fresh fruits, vegetables, baked goods, cider, pickled products, chutney, meat, dairy, duck, pasta, soups, honey, maple syrup, sorghum syrup, and candles.
